The fourth meeting of SMILES team in Kajaani was one of the mobility activities of the project.

The main objective of the project is to enhance the links of participant organizations, learn about new cultures, and improve the connection within Europe by means of spending a short period of time in another country and institution and, specifically, by learning and sharing expertise related to the project topic: social integration of migrants and disadvantaged groups.

The host organization set on this specific aims:

1. To introduce the operations of the host organization, specifically in the field of language acquisition of immigrants by combining language learning and practical
hands-on vocational training
2. To arrange visits to a local educational institution, municipal immigration services as well as NGOs and projects offering services to immigrants and other disadvantaged
groups
3. To offer experiences related to local culture and circumstances.
4. To arrange working sessions on the SMILES project and create opportunities for sharing experiences and ideas
