The third meeting of SMILES team at Trieste is one of the mobility activities of the project.

The main objective is to enhance the links of participant organizations, learn about new cultures, and improve the connection among Europe by means of spending a short period of time in another country, institution and specifically learn and share expertise related to the project topic: social integration of migrants and disadvantaged groups.

The host organization set on this specific aims:

1. The participation at the annual conference of Social Firms Europe CEFEC about “Innovation and social enterprise: a trade off between market and individual needs”
in order to allow the exchange with allover European subjects, engaged in the development of strategies of work inclusion and to present the Smiles Project during
an open Workshop.
2. The choice of cultural and political important locations, as the ex-psychiatrically hospital of Trieste, symbol for the process of deinstitutionalization of total
institutions
3. To provide visits to projects realized between public institutions, private sector as social Cooperatives and training and educational institutions, related on social and
work integration and educational projects
4. Working sessions on the SMILES project and creating of moments of sharing experiences and ideas
